Balaji Mandir at Sector -5 Bhilai was constructed by Andhra Sahitya Samiti. Bhilai Steel Plant management allotted land for this purpose. Construction of the temple started in 1971. Vigraha pratishtapana at Balaji Mandir was done on 30th May 1974. Rajagopuram was constructed few years later.
The temple's activities are managed by Andhra sahitya samiti, sector -5 ,Bhilai.

Temple timings:
6 AM to 11 AM and 5 PM to 9PM on week days ,
6 AM to 12 noon and 5 PM to 9.30 PM on saturdays
6 am to 12 noon
and 5 PM to 9 PM sundays.
